Forgot to mention those BPOs where all fully researched, where fully probably doesn't mean 10/20 since many where caps but anyway the cost he funneled into research surpasses the cost of the BPO by at least one order of magnitude. I long for the day some truer EVE nerd finds out how much that killmail is really worth.

He has in interdiction nullifier, so a bubble would not have even caught him. He must have been flying AFK with autopilot. I don't know how they could have got him if he was paying attention.

I can recommend. Magic is in you doing and seeing things the first time, so the age of the game doesn't really matter there. You can download and play for free even, albeit with a very limited ship selection.
