I don't know if that's enough cheese. Maybe if you bake it into the bread too.

Mozz on the balls, parm on the sauce, but what you can't see is that I had a chunk of havarti left over so I shredded that up and toasted it on the buns first for "meatball glue". Oh and the bread was buttered and then broiled first.

Fried and smothered pork chop, mustard greens, cornbread

I’m aware that there is a segment of the population that doesn’t like cornbread and I’ve never known what to say to them. I have found the words-‘I’m sorry for your loss’

Been playing with yeasted puff (basically croissant dough plus an egg):

Rosemary-chicken-corn in front, cinnamon scraps in back.

I rolled out the rest of it thinner and piled on apples, walnuts, brown sugar, cardamom, and allspice.

patriarchy sucks
Made my first artisan loaf yesterday, turned out way better than I expected:

And while that was rising, did a sous vide pork roast which turned out delicious:

For the filling I just fried up some red onion and a diced apple with a bit of cinnamon and clove. And I made a gravy from the bag juice and some broth.

This looks amazing, what did you do for the sear? I always struggle with getting a good crust on large format sous vide unless I can fire up the BBQ and looks like it's gonna be cold and rainy this week but still gonna make this because it looks amazing

The egg for sure; in my experience danish dough has a higher butter ratio, but I’m no expert

Highly recommend the recipe. I don't add the asafoetida or amchur because I don't have them. This is one to keep in mind for lockdown because it doesn't really need any fresh ingredients.

Good stuff. A good amchur replacement is lemon juice. Squeeze it over at the end, right before serving. The recipe writer appears to have confused aloo matar with dum aloo but whatever.
