On that topic, this is as good a place as any to vent my spleen that another New Guardian alumn (SNOWFLAME, COCAINE GIVES HIM SUPERPOWERS) is coming back this summer, and it is unfortunately in a comic by Sean Murphy and his even-more-CG-cozying co-writer. This isn't quite as bad as Donny Cates or Dan Slott reviving Turner D. Century for me, but it's close.

I haven't read it, so I can't comment directly, but aside from Miles he's mentored a bunch of teen heroes over the years, plus he should know better than anyone that telling a teenage superhero not to risk their lives trying to save people just flat out doesn't work. There's not going to be an X-Men crossover is there?

I think this is the worst creative decision I have ever seen a comic book publisher make since I became a comic book fan 16 years ago. I say this as someone who is quite socially liberal. This is just so insultingly bad. I would've said that I'd expect DC to do something this stupid, but it's been Marvel who's been trying to cash in more on this sort of thing.
