I teach at an alternative high school. I also have an 8 year old 2nd grader and a 10 year old 4th grader. we sent packets home with all students on Monday because we have about 25% of our students who do not have internet or a device at home. all of it is just going over what we have went through already. no new information involved. a lot of journaling and watching the news (I teach social studies). if we have to finish the school year like this...I do not know how I will structure any of my work because of such differences between student capabilities. for my daughters, we are doing work on a day by day basis (first day, we ended up working 4 or more hours but yesterday was just 2 hours). my youngest daughter has anxiety issues about school work so I am trying to thread a very delicate needle.
