They will fight it if they are dicks and you might have to wait longer but you should win and get back pay. If they fired you over the phone literally just they said you're fired for being late , in situations like that they should side with you if your employer has no documentation of tardiness, and even if they did that's not something that gets you denied unemployment benefits.
