I had no idea who Trapt was until just now. I mean once I looked them up on Wikipedia I recognized one of their songs and can easily imagine some douchebag from high school getting totally pumped up by it, but I didn't know poo poo about them until today.

Lots of mellow, closer to Everclear in musical territory than Trapt. Trapt tended to lean on the Ozzfest and Korn crowds, like limp bizkit but not quite as lovely, nowhere near Nickelback fame or sales. I easily confuse Trapt for other meh acts of the time. I think Headstrong was their only national "hit", even hoobastank outsold them. Goddamn I feel old.

Slipknot and their kind were a bit more than I cared for, so I didn't get in too deep to nu metal. I stuck to some weird bands for a while, hence Stroke 9. Also 8stops7. loving memory lane seeing lots of shoes from me today.

I pretty much bought their discography over the years. A lot of their albums are recycling songs from previous albums, but they put on loving amazing live shows. Fred LeBlanc (drummer/singer) just goes apeshit about having fun and they're always at the top of my list for best live shows I've seen.

They covered the song "China" on that album, but it's not really a cover because John Thomas Griffith was also in the Red Rockers when it was originally their song back even earlier. I absolutely love cowboy mouth to death. I never really got into punk or much down that road. DKM didn't come into my life until I was stationed in Korea and I was much more into Anti-flag anyhow.
