It's core to understanding her appeal that you know that she is determined and stubborn to a fault. She gets herself in trouble all the time by refusing to back down but her refusal to give up has gotten her over. The massive chip she has on her shoulder about her idol career explains the rest of her. They told her "her head was too big" so she took out an expensive loan to have a face lift and nobody noticed. So since "has a big head" is a flaw, she's turned it into her number one attack. She's "too strong willed" so she's turned it into a refusal to ever back down even if Aja Kong is actively murdering her.

My first exposure to her was her match vs. Dieno, which is kind of a tough watch depending on your tolerance for his gimmick but it absolutely communicated her character to me. I think my favorite match she's been in, workrate wise, was the 2-out-of-3 falls 6 women tag leading up to the 2019 Korakuen. In addition to Itoh it had TJPW's best workers and also Riho so no surprise, but it was also good storytelling. I think it might be on their YouTube channel, I'll have to check once I'm off my phone.

I can't say I've done a full deep dive into these (although that's the plan!) but early on they are clipped and edited quite a bit but when you get into the later episodes they are slightly better about giving you longer, complete matches.

She got through it a whole lot quicker than Misao but wasn't as accurate. I don't think anything is going to top Miyu translating "Hope to see you soon" into "LOOKING FOR GUYS" e: can't tell if that was a stealth edit or I didn't scroll down to see the rest. It was pretty suspect to specifically say it was for women and "femme presenting" nonbinary people in the first place, but yeah her comment in the DM basically amounted to "if you don't think you look enough like a woman, don't come or else you might trigger someone's trauma." Wifebeater guy is a Joshi regular: at Stardom shows he wears a polo shirt now because at the first show after the Bushiroad acquisition Rossy pulled him aside and told him about the new dress code they had.
