I've stumbled across a gimmick band, Master Boot Record. First reaction:  But I listened to a few songs and…uh…huh. This poo poo is weirdly growing on me. Like, this: https://masterbootrecord.bandcamp.com/track/dblspace-exe DISPLAY.SYS is straight up thrash. Other songs have clear symphonic metal in them (DISKCOPY.COM) I cringe at the names of the songs but at the same time… This is freaking me out, I'm going to bed.

Remember when Mr. Bungle reunited out of nowhere to play their high-school metal band demo tape live? They're re-recording it with actually legible recording quality and a few more decades of experience playing their instruments under their belt. Sure, it's not a NEW new Mr. Bungle album, but it's nice to see these guys back together and at it again.

MDF rescheduled for 2021. 2 bands cant make the date (Death Strike and Prostitute Disfigurement), and out of the rest, all but 2 have already committed to the 2021 date (Cadaver and Necrophobic). Now I just have to work on getting my money back from the hotel, who is claiming I forfeit my entire $1,310 payment if I cancel.
