The final out-of-pocket cost for me, minus the nickel, was something like $1.15. Even so, I figured a bird that smart deserved a reward simply for existing.

Of course, that was probably exactly what I was supposed to think.

Apparently any male bird this guy owns turns into an aggressive rear end in a top hat. But I�ve heard that�s just a problem with owning domesticated livestock birds. ( That doesn�t mean it�s true, but I don�t have much experience with male livestock birds. Just videos of roosters who love their humans. No clue if that�s how they would all turn out if raised correctly or if their humans just got lucky with their birds� temperaments )
