I pick up half gallons at the corner bodega for about 35 bucks. Seems expensive but it's my favorite forgotten prepper hoarding item. I've seen some of the ones being made at home by members of the IATSE film costumers local, and they do seem fairly close to surgical-level quality. Since we're making GBS threads on bad industrial supply houses, Fastenal shipping is absolutely idiotic. I ordered some machine screws (like 6-32x1 or something else super basic) and it took 2 weeks and had to travel through a middleman warehouse before I got it. Never again.
