At 4pm, you would have netted 20 cents per strangle on the 1DTE for an outlay of $5.46. I'm having to do it manually, but it looks like peak value was 5.77 at 3:56pm. Not worth the trouble.

Ya same here. I had puts at 260s for DIA, sold all of those. Gonna hold for adding more puts. My perfect level would be 270 since that is the previous low of Dec 2018. The higher it goes the more interested I will be in puts.

It's been kinda rangebound since last week and with implied volatlity collapsing its been hard to profit on options. I have completely switched to trading stock for now and only buying LEAPs on stocks I intend on exercise in January 2021 or beyond. Unless I see some defined momentum in either direction.

The plant didn't close until March 23rd so it's really Q2 that is going to take the brunt of any serious decline.

No. They produced 102k I believe. They technically showed growth in both deliveries and produced cars YoY because there 1Q was so bad last year.

Honestly, no one is, and it’s the SBAs fault cause this is a clusterfuck.

To add some content, I’m in commercial lending at a community bank. The SBA only provided an application yesterday, there wasn’t a list of required supporting docs until today I believe, and there are serious issues getting ahold of anyone at SBA to authorize new user accounts at Banks.
They also haven’t provided a calculator for applicants to at least estimate an appropriate loan amount.
Then there is the point Omerta mentioned regarding non-citizen owners which wasn’t in the law anywhere.
This doesn’t mention the fact that every bank in the Nation is gonna hammer the SBA’s website starting at like midnight at the latest and will likely DDoS the thing immediately.

Why do I get the feeling we're going to find out next week that all $350 billion went to politically connected "small businesses" that magically didn't have to jump through all these hoops.

First come first served is a really dumb way to do this. Just give a week timeframe, and say all applications in that window will be treated equally. If it ends up being oversubscribed, then you get a percentage of what you asked for so the total comes out right. The way they're doing this is just tailor-made for corruption.

I thought short arms were good for benching :smith:
I have a borderline uncomfortable amount of puts in my portfolio due to buying more at high points. I’d very much like a red day tomorrow or Monday to lock in some gains and reduce my put exposure. The earliest expiration I have are 4/20 and at a very reasonable strike (250), so I still have a bit of time, but I’ll take my medicine rather than bag hold these to expiration if the market looks like it’s going back to 260-270.

I hope one day (probably years in the future) someone is able to unravel all the trades made by people close to him in the hour before he tweets, because I'm sure someone is making billions off of this. Hell, if you knew a week or two before he tweeted it could look slightly more plausible you weren't trading on inside information.

Yea I mean we're taking applications from our existing customers but whether we can actually get them into SBA is another story. We're also not making any guarantees about calculating the loan amount, whether they'll actually be approved or if the loan will be forgiven.

I'm gonna get so many loving grey hairs from this.
