Wife was exposed to someone who tested positive for Covid-19 and for the past three days she's had the worst dry cough Ive ever heard a fever, fatigue and aching joints. Won't fgiver her a test unless she's getting admitted to the ER. She seems to be recovering thankfully but was it the Roni? Literally will never know.

If by "allocate resources efficiently" you mean "shift everything to equity-based compensation for the executive team while ratcheting up share buybacks to unprecedented levels" then yes you described how capitalism works. While I've worked some non-tech jobs, I've never actually worked a customer facing service industry job and I am incredibly privileged to be able to say that and am extraordinarily nice to everyone I meet who does because everyone seems legitimately happy when I do, since it apparently doesn't happen much.
