But for everything else - like that NOAH Korakuen show which was great and had one of the matches of the year on it - there was a gaping hole there which just acted as a reminder that we are not in normal times and while I can deal with that personally it certainly didn't act as an escape. WWE though are bad at handling it generally: the shows format stinks anyway and they didn't change anything up; the matches are still worked assuming that there's an audience there which, well, there wasn't and its just so apparent that there's something missing there. I mean, I wasn't too keen on the Bucks vs. Omega/Page match either because it was largely spectacle for the sake of spectacle, but (a) there are a lot of people on this forum who like that and I don't want to poo poo on peoples' parades by saying that everyone else is wrong when they're not, because everyone's tastes in art are subjective (b) the guy in that reddit post sounds like a fuckin whiny nerd who deserves a wedgie

Yeah, dude is a massive dweeb, but... he's not wrong that we're at a point where Matt Jackson selling the back is less psychology and more a filler spot. It used to at least stop them hitting the Meltzer or More Bang, or make it easier to get out of the Scorpion deathlock, but now all you get is him wincing a bit during a suplex.
