That Works posted:No your evidence is a loving youtube video you brought out trying to trumpet that China's numbers are actually OK and they are doing great while ignoring previous criticisms, data and past behavior of China. Um, which video? Can you link it here because I have no idea what you're talking about. The only video I posted is the Japanese guy documenting how Nanjing has been handling the lockdown - QR codes to track people, Contactless Payments, signing in and out of buildings etc. It's clear that it is being taken very seriously in China. So do you not believe the numbers coming out of other APAC countries? Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea, etc?

Ugh, I started having flu-like symptoms last night, and no urgent care will see me so I can get a flu swab and Tamiflu if that comes back positive because they’re turning away anything that might be coronavirus. The thing is, I know this isn’t coronavirus because I had coronavirus two weeks ago.

Yes, that video. Does Taiwan, Singapore, SK have a record of people who spoke out against covid response disappearing / dying? Do the other APAC countries deport reporters critical of that countries covid response? Suddenly this one youtube video proves that China has done everything right and there's no malfeasance on their part at all? Again, exceptional claims require exceptional evidence. Maybe it exists, but you're not bringing it.

You can test positive for the virus for some time after you recover, but that’s just from residual viruses hanging around, not a sign you lost your immunity or anything. There’s nothing to suggest your immune response would be any different than any other virus that’s ever infected humanity.

There are many reports of people who get it, recover, show negative tests multiple times and then show weaker symptoms and show positive tests again and recover again. Theory was it was like a standard cold, where sometimes the initial infection response wasn't great enough to make enough antibodies to completely fight it off.

And I'm not aware of China deporting reporters who were critical of the COVID response, perhaps you can share this with me. No, not this one YouTube video but the extreme measures that China took shows that the numbers can be realistic, especially considering the neighboring countries numbers. In addition, the fact that the daily cases in China increased by 14k in the middle of February shows that if the CCP were really trying to downplay the severity of the issues to make themselves look better, then they would have controlled that as well. My claim is not exceptional, it is more level headed than your claim that because CHINA BAD, then the numbers are incorrect. I have yet to find a country that has taken as extreme measures as China that has not been able to contain it. Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea etc. performed a very calculated lockdown as well and their numbers are significantly more positive than China's - I mean Taiwan, a country with 24 million people has 5 deaths - does that sound believable to you? You can keep telling me to show you exceptional evidence but we both know that that's not possible. What do you want to see - "Unnamed CIA Officials release statement that the numbers from China are accurate"?

A 20 year old died in our province, but they don't know what her health situation was like beforehand yet. A bunch of people are dying in an elderly care facility in my city too. Two teens were charged $1200 for sitting in a car together, which was later dropped, but maybe it will scare some people into not defying public health orders because they're bored or don't care about others?
