Sorry to butt in, but aren�t things in Korea supposed to be returning to a semblance of normalcy? My girlfriends family (korean nationals in Seoul) seem to be going to parks, restaurants and doing that old people hiking group thing again, and the pictures they send seem to show lots of people living life, albeit cautiously.

I suppose offices and schools are still closed, and there are mandatory quarantines for anyone entering the country, but it seems like USFK is really out of step with the mood in the country.

Basically we flattened the curve, didn't have any cases on Humphreys or Osan, people got complacent, then boom, rates going up again.

We literally have our own Typhoid Mary at Osan. Korean American bar owner got sick in the states, flew back to Korea, lying about corona, then had a big welcome home party at her bar with a bunch of Koreans and contractors (because all AD was banned from bars and restaurants we missed it) . Winds up infecting 15 people. She's looking at 100k usd fine, possible jail time, and petitions to deport her back to the states.
