I suspect that’s what happens tomorrow since Wisconsin mayors have already started doing just that, followed by a months long court case that determines 5 randomly selected absentee ballots are the only valid votes

The WI Supreme Court is held by Republicans (5-2 majority) and the maintaining of that is decided by the election tomorrow. They would rather endanger their own voters' lives as long as it ensures their own party's survival for generations more*; the state of the Dems presidential primary is a minor concern in comparison. There's nothing the governor can do because all realistic options to stop it have now been exhausted, and their legislature is overwhelmingly R (19-14 Senate, 63-36 Assembly, R Senator, and 5-3 House reps)

*They 100000000% will if the current states of Milwaukee and Madison hold; both main blue areas, both currently severely understaffed due to the crisis, many polls there straight up will not open tomorrow (Milwaukee already said they'll have 5 of their usual 180 available)

Different decisions.
The state supreme court blocked the attempt by the governor to postpone the primary.
SCOTUS reversed the previous decision by a federal judge that extended deadlines for absentee ballots.

Stalin is good. Start with The Foundations of Leninism then Dialectical and Historical Materialism.

Why did SCOTUS even put a ruling forward, they have no jurisdiction over election rules, those are decided by the state.

That recent pentagon contract yeah, but from some brief googling it seems that a good chunk of everything from the VA to the CIA is AWS, and according to https://aws.amazon.com/government-education/government/ there’s tons of state, city, and county level gov stuff using aws, which makes sense given their aggressive marketing

edit; looks like JPL is on there, which means it’s probably very satanic

wait so could the WI governor do what they did in Ohio and have it declared a state of emergency or is it something that’s based on state laws and thus not applicable here?
