TODD BONZALEZ posted:At the village where my mum used to live, the council did a big sewer pipe renovation/diversion and it caused loads of rats to descend on the local houses. My mum's cats had a whale of a time catching them. Over that Christmas when I came to stay, we were eating Christmas dinner and I nudged something squashy with my foot under the table. Turns out the cats had brought a treat in for us all! While I'm generally pro cats staying indoors and not killing local wildlife, in this instance it was good to have a helping hand with the sudden rat problem. Now my mum's cat is too old and fat to catch things, and just chills out on whichever lap she deems the most comfy Iron Crowned posted:My cat will go out on the balcony with me. Googled Sweden and saw a National Review article praising them for their "common sense" approach in their refusal to implement a stay-at-home order or shut down bars and restaurants and how its obviously paying dividends and Sweden has COVID under control without killing their economy. Then I googled Sweden's Coronavirus numbers, they have 6,000 cases only a thousand less than New York State when it implemented its Stay-at-home order at what we now all agree was about two weeks too late. Sweden has 10 million people, New York State has 20 million. Ohio has 12 million people it has 1,500 less cases than Sweden. Sweden's going to get really bad really soon and it will be interesting to see if the National Review just sweeps that article under the rug and pretends it never happened or find a way to defend Sweden's response to the end. EDIT: Sweden has 477 deaths a 7% case fatality rate already. holy loving poo poo. RIP Sweden. BIG FLUFFY DOG has issued a correction as of 07:33 on Apr 7, 2020 |

https://mobile.twitter.com/Franklin_Graham/status/1247238869289963522quote:“I don’t think God planned for this to happen. It’s because of the sin that’s in the world, Judge. Man has turned his back on God. We have sinned against Him, and we need to ask for God’s forgiveness. And that’s what Easter is all about — it’s about God so loving the world that He gave His only begotten son — that whosoever should believeth in Him should not perish, but should have everlasting life,” Graham said.
