If the peak comes later it means people are social distancing properly. Like New York's goimg to be hitting its peak in mid-April through the strategy of loving everybody there getting it because Cuomo and De Blasio dragged their feet on shutting everything down. Places that have peaks in like late May or June will have less deaths overall than places that have their peaks in mid-april.

been a while since i posted one of these, but the US had a few days where it looked like we were making progress in catching up to the number of tests needed, and then this past day was a big nope. it does look like there has genuinely been a daily testing capacity increase though, up from 100k/day to 135k/day, but that's still not nearly enough
