*Ahem* 12-13 The rainbow that I have put in the sky will be my sign to you and to every living creature on earth. It will remind you that I will keep this promise forever. 14 When I send clouds over the earth, and a rainbow appears in the sky, 15 I will remember my promise to you and to all other living creatures. Never again will I let floodwaters destroy all life. 16 When I see the rainbow in the sky, I will always remember the promise that I have made to every living creature. 17 The rainbow will be the sign of that solemn promise.

It's bad stats and bad word of mouth.

there were districts with upwards of 12% discrepancies, and IT JUST SO HAPPENS every single one went bernie -> biden. bootlicker e: also, the "young voters didn't turn out" is a bullshit myth, they turned out in unprecendented numbers, had to wait in lines for hours, and despite all the supression were a big chunk of the vote. too bad the system was rigged from the start tho. The DNC coordinated a mass dropout to prop up their centrist empty suit boomer dickhead. Pete had performed better than Biden and mysteriously dropped pre-ST to back Biden in an effort against progressivism. That’s all it was. Was it against the rules? No. But much like Dem v GOP in nationwide elections, a progressive candidate must massively outperform a centrist just to run even because the establishment will always put their finger on the scales. They did it last time and they’ve done it this time.

I agree that if bernie had ran a good campaign he could easily run away with the election. His campaign isn't very good, he's not nearly hard enough on, in his words, "his good friend joe". But, super tuesday was close enough that the exit poll discrepancies are handing biden his win. If the discrepancies were roughly 50/50 between biden/bernie, that'd be one thing. But almost every state posting exit poll numbers one way, and then actual results favouring biden? uhhhhhhhhhhhhh, yeah, that's 100% rigged. Dems weren't going to let Bernie win one way or another.

You can think voting is meaningless all you want, but the history of violence and oppression centered on preventing people from voting belies your conclusion.

Adding on to what others have said, for American Democracy to be simply “smoke and mirrors” theres sure as hell is an enormous amount time and energy spent getting people to vote, volunteer in some political capacity or persuade them that their preferred candidate sucks and they should stay home on Election Day. But in any event, there’s a massive world of difference with Biden or Trump being in office especially with Global Warming. I’ll admit it is incredibly disappointing that Biden does have Oil and Gas Industry connections but I don’t believe for a minute he’d be trying to roll back things like automotive emissions standards. If you still don’t believe me, Greenpeace recently updated Biden’s Scorecard to a B from an earlier D- Greenpeace - Joe Biden 2020 Climate Score

The response to COVID-19 is good analogy as to what we need to do to combat climate change in a specific way as in the entire international scientific community and governments are exclusively focusing on this virus however make no mistake there is absolutely zero lining when it comes to climate change. Simply hitting pause for a few months we’ve you’ve already been emitting carbon for centuries does essentially nothing and has hurt efforts to reduce emissions. Petroleum prices are extremely low leading to even less incentives to move towards renewables and long term energy forecasts haven’t changed - give it a few years and we will just end up where we were to begin with in the first place with us even further from decarbonization. The 2008 financial crisis is the only thing to ever make a dent in emissions, I don't see why the Covid crisis, presuming it entails economic fallout at least as bad as 2008 will have the same effect, certainly more of an effect then any politician would have managed.
