I just think its been too early to say NY is starting to peak. Spain is just saying that now and they started having big problems before the USA, and the USA hasn't even locked the country down fully compared to most other countries. It just looks like a scheme to get people back to work asap to me is all.

I think the goal is to thread the needle by telling people that what they're doing to help is meaningful and working while keeping them from thinking they can start to relax. Cuomo can attempt that for his state, but he's not going to get out there and say "But buckle up, Florida!" Well, now that I think of it I think he actually has said that multiple times.

Speaking of Florida, here in Boca people have gotten a bad scare by the looks of it. It was in the news that we were number 10 for infection rates in Florida, and there's now a much bigger dent in traffic and pedestrians. And going out yesterday to get food, supermarket workers had dug up masks from somewhere. Most of the customers in the store had masks on, in particular the old farts. I think it was a one of the retirement communities filled with idiot chuds that got hit, and has given everyone a ferocious scare. That, and loving idiots spreading it everywhere during spring break.

Ventura County, CA has plenty of folks out without masks in stores and generally acting like everything is fine. This place is like Orange County, CA adjacent though so no shocker. Surprisingly it hasn't been hit too hard. Yete.

Apparently his campaign is in active talks with the Sanders campaign, so it'll be interesting to see what other concessions they lay out in the weeks/months to come.

Putting the senate implications aside just for the sake of arguement, I think this is where Warren makes a good fit for what he's looking for in a compromise VP with the left, a women, and she didn't endorse Bernie when she dropped out so she never burnt that bridge. I liked Warren though so that might just be my personal bias
