If you want a proper lefty union the IWW is the one. Not involved with Labour, and far far more radical than any of the others, apart from the IWGB and it’s affiliates who are about at that level.

Makes sense, if there's gonna be a global depression for years anyway it's gonna be impossible to work out the damage from a bit of hard brexit E and either we stick one in the eye of the EU, which is good, or the UK dies, which is good. They won't need to smelt for a while, but forging will be necessary; fortunately it's a relatively easy skill to keep in the knowledge base.
