The Gerrard slip i would say was less meaningful as Liverpool had chances to drag themselves back in that game and also threw away a 3-0 lead in the next game, but also so much funnier due to his "This will not loving slip" rant after the City game. Terry's was loving hilarious due to it being in a final, him pulling rank and also because gently caress John Terry.

I don't recall anything about Terry pulling rank. I remember something about Anelka not wanting to be in the first five. With Drogba sent off I don't think Chelsea had a ton of options to take penalties.

It was Cech, Essien, Carvalho, Terry, Ashley Cole, Juliano Belletti, Ballack, Lampard, Kalou, Anelka. The first four penalty takers were Ballack, Belletti, Lampard, and Cole. So instead of Terry it could have been Cech, Essien, Carvalho, Kalou, or Anelka, any one of whom might not have slipped and fallen on their rear end

Lots of inaccurate recollections here. Seven penalties were taken. 5th Terry(missed), 6th Kalou (scored), 7th Anelka (missed). The only Chelsea players who didn't take pens in the end were Cech, Carvalho and Essien. Essien doesn't take pens because he missed one before and it landed his mom in the hospital.
