Combined with the fact that the lab's top bat virus researcher wound up scrubbed from personnel lists, this guy's argument is that she was likely patient zero and IMO I think that tracks. I have no idea if the job postings are still up but I did check when I first saw this and they were legit. Considering that Wuhan's Level 4 lab exists because a Level 3 lab accidentally released swine flu (iirc), it doesn't seem like a leap to me to assume that this was another lab study that escaped, not a bio weapon. And this is all occurring in a context in which CCP bio labs are notoriously leaky, there have been four separate recorded examples of czars leaking from the Beijing level 3 lab for example. (Also the mid-50's swine flu pandemic was an accidental release from a CCP biolab) The CCP isn't any more reliable or honest than the US government, and in fact is one of the few world powers that one could make a strong case is actually less transparent and honest than the United States government. (USER WAS PUT ON PROBATION FOR THIS POST)
