A good thread. This post is dedicated to Noel, the best cat in the world, who passed away earlier this year and broke my heart. She was 16, a month away from turning 17.    She was with me through some real bad points in my life, and was a real comfort to me during those times. I couldn't go anywhere in the house without her following me, and if I had the audacity to close a door and prevent her from being in the room with me, I would hear about it until I opened the door and let her in. Her brother, Toby, was more my wife's cat than mine, and he passed away a few years ago now. He was fat as hell and hated my guts, but was quite photogenic:   what a graceful creature (USER WAS PUT ON PROBATION FOR THIS POST)

It is shameful that I have been on this site for this long and have a completely clean rap sheet. I will rectify this with cat pictures. Some of you may remember Willow who came in 6th place in the "Best Cat on Something Awful" spine fund raiser. I think she came so far on the strength of her dangle game.  To be honest I think she's been resting on her laurels a bit.  And she has not been super helpful with my work-from-home situation.  Her sister Mia is still very fluffy and full of mischeviousness.  She is also doing her part to thwart home office productivity.  But being siblings they mostly get along.  Yori is the outsider and is shunned by Mia (it's a mutual.)  But she's got a pretty laid back attitude about it and isn't bothered too much.  And she gets along with Willow for the most part.  They're all pretty awesome. This is Dan the Dane and Puma the kitten. Dan found Puma under a bush at the park while on his walk, she was very little (too little to be on her own) and didn't have any fear of Very Big Dogs. She came home with us until we could find her real owners, but she appeared to have been abandoned - the park was a long way from any houses and no-one ever came forward to say they had lost her.
