The toxic stuff people have internalized to support crony/disaster capitalism is a fascinating topic to ponder intellectually and enraging to encounter personally. "Unions are terrible they destroy businesses competitiveness" "Unions might be ok for some sectors, but they would destroy our sector" "Unions protect greedy and lazy employees which is why it'd be madness to have one" "But how can we pay for it?" "The super rich worked hard for their money and deserve it" "But the economy..." I get why Jeff Bezos believes that poo poo, but why are J. Random Wageslave licking his boot, they secretly think that one day they'll be a billionaire? I'd love to think at the other side of COVID-19 we might have an examination of whats important in life, what was actually vital to life, what was important that we missed and so on, but my gut says "everyone" will want to go back to "normal"

The boomer generation was made entirely of small brained dipshits who think that the amount of money you have is completely representative of how hard you worked. So anyone wealthy had to have busted their rear end and if they tirelessly bust their rear end for someone else, they will also attain that wealth (they won’t). They believe that if someone does not make a fair wage, they should just work harder or work more. They bust their rear end constantly for crumbs because their brains are broken, then they rail against provisions that would allow them the same benefits without killing themselves and they refuse because a sane person with good work-life balance might get the same as them even though they’re not a massive idiot working themselves to death for a pittance. Millionaires and billionaires have snowed all of these idiots into believing that workers rights is just a way for “lazy” people to make the same money by doing less work and that absolutely cannot happen because if everyone gets the same as you, who is left for you to feel superior to?

Also, if Hero wasn't "furloughed," that presumably means that in spite of effectively acting as a coach and producer, he wasn't contracted as one along with his wrestling contract. Even though he literally had autonomy over his matches.
