A WEBP is supposed to be a still image, the image equivalent of a WEBM, based on the VP8 algorithm and not MPEG/JPEG stuff. That said, a lot of people just name their files wily-nily, since extensions don't really matter to anything but Windows anymore. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WebP Safari doesn't support it because it's a Google-owed tech, even though it's open source and they could. But based on the file headers Is an actual WEBP and not just a renamed JPEG so here it is for all the Mac and IE users.

I'd fired up Chrome/Firefox to view these things but I thought I'd raise the flag that this doesn't appear to be a universally suitable image sharing solution, as a general PSA
