Fruit trees do not have furniture or wasps. You have to keep at least a few regular trees around to get those.

I’ve got a general Switch/Nintendo Online question, maybe this isn’t the best spot? My brother is getting this game but doesn’t have Nintendo online whereas I have the shared plan that my gf and I use on a shared Switch. If I added him to mine that would that mean any purchases he makes charge my account or would that stay separate?

Thanks to everyone that came out, I’ve got all the arcade machines cataloged, another type of pinball and a dart board. Those plus some great looking furniture means that after a couple of days of ordering I’ll have a pretty good looking arcade.

Plus I’m not sure who they are on here but whoever bought the grand piano and let us all touch it only to then give it to me basically financed my arcade with the money I saved on not buying that thing. Thanks so much.

Only after you get your first camper. After you invite them(you have no choice in this) Tom will ask you to find a plot of land for them, then he will give you the option to buy plots of land and at that point as long as you have an empty plot there will always be a villager to invite on mystery islands.

Just don't take too long, cause randos have a chance to take those plots at that beginning of the day.

I'm late, and I've said this earlier in the thread, but I'm pretty sure that was a "pick your favorite" poll, not a poll of all the villagers you like or dislike; ergo, a polarizing character, like Pietro, would do pretty well, while the ones who most people would say they like but aren't going to be as many people's #1 picks would do much poorer than you'd expect.

I don't run that island, but I know how it works. Yes, it's totally find if you just want to visit and touch stuff. The only thing that pisses off the host is stealing poo poo. If you left stuff in return, that's less bad. What made him mad was the furniture pile kept shrinking and shrinking because of people taking stuff from it.
