I've seen that talking point get repeated by people like Eli Massey and I think it's time the American left just gets put out to pasture.

70% of these protestors that were polled (or answered) said they were still working.

It isn't about a safety net, this is either about A> small business owners not being able to get their employees to go back to work, or B> not being able to abuse working people for fun like they usually do.

These are people who took up arms at the behest of their openly fascist daddy and I have absolutely zero reason to find common cause with them or have sympathy for them. None of this poo poo was happening until Daddy provoked it.

this protest was about just getting people food and government assistance. One of the main things is to open the public school cafeterias to feed poor kids. Unreal that they haven't done it.

After the totally tame car protest, the cops arrested the hippie "feed the children" organizer at his house. He was subsequently set free because there was no reason to have arrested him.

Puerto Rico seems to be almost 100% in solidarity with the lockdowns. I haven't seen anything like "liberate Puerto Rico" except from a few weirdo "expat" whites on Facebook. Been under house arrest basically for 7 weeks now

new cases have a 5 to 10 day lag from infections and deaths have a 10 to 18 day lag from symptoms so the new cases are probably from the last week or two. the new deaths, which are basically flat, are from mid April.
