idk if the USA should've understood anything by the end of 2019, it's prob that we can't handle a pandemic at all. They've been drilling on it since like 2001 one or something and all the scenarios pretty much end up just like this. austria (which is doing very well) has done antibody tests in 27 towns that had high number of cases. they found only 4.71% of people were exposed to the virus. pretty bad news means there were not that many asymptomatic cases and the risk of further waves is real
