Yes much of this is from 2015-16 old (because Ventura stays the radar until every election cycle when he teases his presidential run to sell his poo poo) but he's got a lot to disavow before I could consider supporting him. The guy has espoused every conspiracy theory in the book including the usual Bilderberg/Rothschilds/globalists/international bankers talk that sets off alarm bells in my head.

Still a lesser evil than Biden's murderous conspiracy theory that left hundreds of thousands of dead strewn across the middle east.

If I understand liberal logic correctly, if we don't vote for Ventura or someone like him then we will be responsible for Trump's re-election.

The biggest problem with Ventura is that he teeters right on the edge between "free speech"/"free thinker"/"just asking questions" and full alt-right. Alex Jones jumped that line years ago, even Dennis Kucinich did it. Ventura is nowhere near as far gone as Jones but he knows what side his bread is buttered on, he was heavily involved in the Ron Paul campaigns and has seen how easy it is to free those people of their unnecessary fiat currency.

I swear this place has gone off the deep end. Biden is a terrible candidate, bad person, lovely option. Rebutting arguments against other lovely options with "but Biden is worse!" is dumb as hell.

It is pretty interesting that one of the arguments for Bernie or Bust was "Bernie has the only plan to fight climate change, everybody else leads to doom", and the response to "Ventura denies climate change exists" is "whatever he's not Biden".

Joe Biden gave Strom Thurmond's eulogy and published letters of praise from literal white supremacists thanking him for working with them to defeat civil rights legislation

The interesting thing about this, is that your argument hinges on the fact that I reject your lesser evilism philosophy and vote purely on principle. By any lesser evil analysis, being a Sandy Hook Truther as disgusting and harmful as it is, has not killed a million people so it's objectively less harmful than Biden's Saddam trutherism. Or Joe Rogan, as gross and ignorant as he can be, is demonstrably less racist than Biden, if you compare for example their stance on caging refugee children (Rogan is vehemently against it), or their opinions on whether Strom Thurmond is good, actually. So if I were to accept your lesser evilism philosophy Ventura or Rogan are less evil than Biden. If I am to vote on principle, sure I would never vote for a Sandy Hook Truther (if Ventura were one, which he isn't, even you are only relying on insinuation and character assassination to claim he might as well be) but by that same token I would never vote for a mass murdering war criminal rapist either.

in 2009 Biden was opposed to gay marriage, but I've granted he's probably moved on and doesn't represent a threat to that institution. I'm willing to extend the same to Jesse on this, in part because the Green plan to address it is not something somebody looking to triangulate would embrace
