Does Korea have open gay clubs now? When I first came here in 2009 everything still seemed underground or on the down low.

Notorious R.I.M. posted:I think the end result is that a bunch of other metroplexes end up reopening and then following NYC's model: surge until about 20% infected, then slowly suppress cases. I think Americans are too stupid to suppress cases with 0% herd immunity advantage, but 20% or so seems to be about the proper amount of training wheels since an R(t) < 1.25 is good enough rather than needing < 1. Herd immunity of 20% would mean R0 is still at 4. You need herd immunity of 70% to bring it down to 1.5 and then over 80% to bring it below 1. The NY outbreak didn't slow down due to any meaningful change in R0 thanks to herd immunity. It was due to the lockdown actually working.

The USA would survive losing 1% of its population, especially since it would be focused on retired people. It's a terrible answer and like someone already posted, the economic damage is done either way so it is purely a death cult thing. But it wouldn't end the country.

one of the great things about having a personality disorder is you can go from 0 to 10000000 in one breath then from 1000000000 back to 0 in the next breath. The part that sucks is someone can say something arbitrary and it will trigger that memory and you'll be back at that 10000000000 and it's directed at them

I'm still trying to convince myself that this very, very atypical dry cough and hear burn + chest pain I had in late December was just a combo of bad habits /a recent surgery / flu season. Just had to get this one WebMD post out of my system, apologies.

Sending all the love <3 She is fine now, finished chemo on Tuesday and in a month goes back to work as an ER nurse... All her flu swabs were negative while she was in the hospital but her doctors now are thinking there was s pretty good chance she had covid. No breathing problems thankfully but pretty much all her vitals just completely tanked one day for no reason. They thought it was a chemo reaction at first but they restarted her and she literally had no issues other than nausea and some hand/feet neuropathy

Relaxing or doing an activity by yourself actually strengthens relationships (assuming you're not doing it way too often or to get away from your SO. ) he's a really good partner and wants me to go camping because he knows how badly I want to go (and I really, really do) but I'm scared of the covid even though it's miles in the woods off trail and I'm cleared by the dr. We're both dumb AF and go out of our way for the other without thinking that the other person might not actually want to do "the thing" sometimes. He doesn't realize that I want time away from him because I've failed to communicate it to him because I'm afraid to hurt his feelings so it's it a bit on me right now. When we go camping it's a 50/50 thing so for me to not go puts an undue burden on him but it's not like he can't do it. Until all of this I spent 90% of my day alone when he was working so it's been a transition period for everyone. He worked 4 days on 3 days off so for 4 days a week I was basically alone and being around someone 24/7 has been rough. He's still asleep so I'm not sure what's going on, I might bring him a cat into the bedroom and see what's up
