The NY outbreak didn't slow down due to any meaningful change in R0 thanks to herd immunity. It was due to the lockdown actually working.

Sending all the love <3 She is fine now, finished chemo on Tuesday and in a month goes back to work as an ER nurse... All her flu swabs were negative while she was in the hospital but her doctors now are thinking there was s pretty good chance she had covid. No breathing problems thankfully but pretty much all her vitals just completely tanked one day for no reason. They thought it was a chemo reaction at first but they restarted her and she literally had no issues other than nausea and some hand/feet neuropathy

When we go camping it's a 50/50 thing so for me to not go puts an undue burden on him but it's not like he can't do it. Until all of this I spent 90% of my day alone when he was working so it's been a transition period for everyone. He worked 4 days on 3 days off so for 4 days a week I was basically alone and being around someone 24/7 has been rough. He's still asleep so I'm not sure what's going on, I might bring him a cat into the bedroom and see what's up
