In my local paper this morning there is a story about cops being called for mask related disputes - one woman in a grocery store screaming at people for not wearing masks and refusing to leave, and a woman entering an Uber without a mask and refusing to wear one. It's not so much of a "both sides do it" but it has become a virtue signaling thing. There does seem to be more animosity on the "not wearing a mask" side but generally people love any excuse to shame others and this is a really easy way to do it. I am pro-mask, btw, but I am also not going to scream at a stranger for not wearing one.
