Every "nook miles ticket" furniture item has different variations that are unique to your island and the only way to get the other styles is through trading with other islanders. I know for the Godzilla statue there's a red one and a purple one and maybe a green one as well.

Its a reference to horror movie Midsommer. A very good movie by the same guy who did horror movie Hereditary, which is also a very good horror movie.

You should watch them. I saw midsommer first, order doesn't really matter.

The end of that movie left us happier than any other film I can think of that came out that year.

I had to wait 2 hours in a walmart plague-line to get my Switch Lite. Only three remained in the store when I got in. There was no regular Switches at all.

I'm glad to have it, I have the feeling if there is some kind of trade war with China they will become even harder to find.

I am not entirely insane, I was also there to pick up about 2-months worth of groceries. The corner store near my house only has milk and bread. Believe me I will not be returning to walmart any time soon! I'm just glad pretty much everything is on the eshop, so I dont have to go out to get games.

Apologies if it's been addressed before, but how's the Trials of Mana port for the switch? Considering it there so long as it isn't at launch-Bloodstained levels of broke rear end.

i.e., 100% for all line of sight shots, and 50/50 for cover.

It would actually be okay, I think!

You'd have to have a 100% damage drop off for all guns past a certain range (that would be decided per gun type).

XCOM considers cover, half cover, in the open and flanking when calculating accuracy. You could have each one be a flat 25% modifier.

PSI powers could be 100% accurate and then make the duration a hard limit. Mind controlled enemies remain that way until dead, so you'd have to make it only last a round or two.

Other than weird graphical pop-ins for cutscenes, I had slowdown for one character's class strike in the end game, but nothing as far as actually playing the game. There's a bit of jank, and loading can take a bit, but it definitely plays fine on the Switch.

I bought it when it came out on Switch and I have the PC version. The best I can say about it is that it's "serviceable".
It's not bad (I feel I got my money out of it) but the port was a sloppy as gently caress job;

- The UI/menu layout is considerably worse than the team that did the first game for 360 and PS3
- Menus (graphical errors) and online are still buggy,
- Combining gems was left out (and isn't going to be patched in)
- No respec potion (and isn't going to be patched in)
- uncapped framerate so it can get rough when action ramps up (by comparison, D3 is a rock solid 30)
- occasional freezing during initial loading screen (admittedly very rare, but possible)

This is the same company responsible for porting DooM '16. Apparently the quality level is based on the budget given.

I had to check and apparently they did patch in the Transmutation and the Respec options in, there were a few post-release patches so I think I’m gonna take the plunge for 14$.

You should absolutely grab one even if just for a handful of games you missed! They're cheap as hell, you can always sell it when you're done, and popping custom firmware on them is super easy thanks to that 3ds guide page

So when youre done with the handful of legally obtained titles you wanna play such as ALBW, you can still do cool poo poo like being able to package all sorts of roms via dummy dsiware, custom themes, crazy cool tweaks to existing titles like upgraded symphony music in Zelda, dragon quest, unofficial English translations of games that never came out here, and more... much, much more...

The system is fully busted open! The $100 I spent on getting a used 2ds xl was extremely worth it

It's a great system. I can easily think of at least a half dozen games I want to buy/play on it, and given time I'm sure I can bump that number up to at least 15.

It's the only true portable for me, in that I take it outside of the house. Mine is the special Majora's Mask edition, which is so cool, even if it has a bit of wear and tear now.
