It's mostly used as a seed coating to protect seeds during germination these days

In all this shitposting I forgot some choice words I overheard today at work! The keywords are: Logbook, Department of Transport, Fine, Hidden, Truck, Buy, hosed (with bonus slammed closed manager door), Police, GPS Log Reset, Rest, Refueling, Hide, New. I have actual stories, to go with that but will refrain until sober (ha!). Humphreys fucked around with this message at 17:33 on May 15, 2020 |

Hey, so I'm finally looking for a house to buy! What kind of deathtrap stuff should i be on the lookout for that would be enough of a red flag to run screaming before needing to pay for an inspector? I know screw in fuses and janky homemade writing in the attic, but what was the brand name of the circuit breaker panel that's a fire waiting to happen? The houses I'm looking at right now are in the midwest and were built between 1960 and 1980

There are other compatible brands, though.

Reuben Sandwich posted:Same but it was indirect. The shop teacher saw a student lift up on the plastic guard, while the band was moving, and clean the sawdust out with their fingers. The teacher kept his mouth shut not to startle the kid and the stress caused a minor heart attack. I didn't witness the accident, I was a student worker in the office at the time and that's where they brought the kid while they waited for an ambulance. He apparently just stuck his hand in it. Hand was wrapped in a bloody cloth by the time I saw. That's my story thanks for listening.

I was in the woodshop (not at school, at the lumber yard) and the old timer running the shop sliced off three fingers on a table saw faster than you can scream. Only bandsaw injury we ever had was from cleaning it while it was off.

I've done enough EHS in my life to know leaving safety to humans acting correctly for hours on end is a recipe for disaster. Edit: funny example of humans acting dumb: my wife found a dirty diaper in the baby laundry hamper today. Why? Who knows.

We bought our house from someone who did that during the last boom and as a result he ended up owing money after the sale. (And should have owed more, honestly, now that I know some of the things our inspector missed.)

When I had my roof done I had it in the contract to install D rings on the roof's peak. So now when I clean my gutters I can tie off something.
