i weighed my beans yesterday to see, but it was almost exactly where i've been turning the timed shutoff thing on my grinder to anyway, so i think today i'll go back to winging it like i have for years boiling water now  edit: i chickened out and weighed the beans again, but didn't weigh the water. drinking the coffee now! ccs: definitely not getting a good cup grind setting is as close as it gets on a hario hand grinder hario v60 water boiling a f beans excellent i even know whatthe end result should be and what i get is flat and thin tasting with not much sweetness or flavor

thanks i'll have to try it out currently using 15g coffee for a 250ml cup. bloom is 30ml water for 45s, pour up to 150ml, a swirl to knock down the grounds stuck to the filter paper, and then up to 250.
