I do have a weak spot for Mexican crafts so there's a lot of that mixed into my mid-century furniture. Visuals work best for this thread so here's me in my Selig egg chair with my doggo.

The shelves match the edge banding on the cabinets and the countertops look like a good practical choice; stainless for the areas needing the most cleaning, and marble for prep areas (good for making dough etc).

I shamefully admit I watch Billions (even though, you know, kill all billionaires), and prada's stool was featured. But also this lovely blu dot lamp. https://www.bludot.com/note-table-lamp.html

I have also decided that I do in fact want something in the bedroom corner so here you go. More just to point at the wall as it's quite bright (my secret hack is to put a white piece of paper over the light, or blue for blue light :))

you can by the piece of paper at DWR for $500

No worries! It's definitely an overall improvement:

I still like the suggestions other people have had of moving the TV and subwoofer to the left, so they aren't blocking the window and fireplace. However, looking at that floor plan, I guess that might not line up with the couch. Still, it's something you could try pretty quickly without having to change out any furniture.

I feel like pineapples and flamingos have made a really big comeback in your general merchandise the last few years (water bottles, ceramics, stationery, literally everything). I feel like vague tropical themes are kind of all over music videos in the past few years too?

I don’t know if this has anything to do with the history of the pineapple as a decorative item and ostentatious display of wealth being a viral topic but that’s what it makes me think of https://www.mentalfloss.com/article/65506/super-luxe-history-pineapples-and-why-they-used-cost-8000

I stayed in a BnB once that looked a lot like that. They'd sourced beds hand carved in the 1800s for every bedroom.

It was run by a really nice gay couple, one of whom was a sculptor/painter.
