Finally caught up with this thread. To echo what others have said about the art, its really odd how even the "bad" artist still understand lighting and framing of panels. Like they are all technically competent, but they all learned body proportions and faces from those terrible 5 dollar how to draw anime book from hobby lobby.

Was gonna say, they almost had a whole issue without Roll getting naked. The whole 'how to draw manga' style can be weird, since it's basically cargo culting popular manga- and more likely, anime- without understanding the principles behind it and how the original artists actually draw it. You end up with the equivalent of Rob Liefeld art.

I've heard about this trashy comic before, but it exceeds all my expectations. Read through it all (except that one issue) and picked a face from each one. I keep noticing MEGA CHINS popping up for characters that don't normally have them. Must be the 90s anime style.

Of course, the Archie Sonic comics are often called out as turning into furry fanfiction until Sega noticed and was all 'what the gently caress', but they at least got away with it a lot longer.

The blatant misogyny and literal objectification of women. The incest. The random racism/homophobia/etc. The  child abuse chapter. The horrible and ever-changing art (especially when it comes this close to being passable, but something is too hosed up not to notice). The Fanfiction.net middle schooler-style OCs, which are actually welcome since they take away from the loving incest. The unhinged manifestos, which also happen to bring bad fanfiction to mind. That’s not even getting into the milder sins of complete retcons and throwing whatever canon Mega Man did have out the window. Oh, and ROBOT PREGNANCY. This is just so many layers of bad. A big old onion of bad, with layers and layers of ever worsening poo poo the more you peel back. I guess we should be thankful mega man’s red dog isn’t in this because It would probably be the baby’s father or something

Also for transparency's sake I am posting this cuz I forgot that line and I wondered if I put that reference in there and maybe I did  My understanding is something like rebimboca da parafuseta referring to like obscure / bullshit parts of a machine? Presumably me changed it to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interocitor which is a nerd rear end reference but is almost similar? Maybe something like blinker fluid would work? This comic is nutso start to finish, thank you for sharing this. I love that weird licensed products like this got sold and approved. I'm tripping out a little right now, there's something very distinct about this kind of brazilian anime style.  This fanart here in particularly shook some memory neurons. I used to be an avid poster on the bobandgeorge.com forums and IRC. It was a megaman sprite comic (arguably THE origin of sprite/megaman comics) and the community went all out making their own comics, fancomics, fanart, sprite sheets, flash cartoons etc. My signature character was a Megaman 7 sprite sheet edited to be my OC... a grey and gold megaman with a Met hat (construction hardhat). Somewhere around this time I got into Diablo 2, where I discovered horny creeps in the chat rooms would just give me items and attention if I pretended to be a girl, which was as easy as lying about "asl" back then. Well, once I was showered with SoJ and Lidless Eye and my Sorc was OP as heck I figured I'd take my fake-girl act on the road. I stopped by my IRC stomping grounds and announced I had been lying to them and actually I was a girl (and i think I also claimed to be half-japanese) and had a madeup name and everything. I can't imagine what I thought I would gain at the time by lying to a chatroom of vague internet-friends for a megaman sprite comic... I remember not knowing what my goal was because my mom caught me and found my fake-girl activities and I had really no answers for her then or now. Anyway, during that stint of rebranding bobandgeorge persona there was this guy who took a liking to my fictional-self's OC characters. He drew a few fanarts of my fan character and they were all in an eerily similar style to this second fanart pic. I wish I could find the copies I saved or his old website, but I can't remember their username plus their site was in spanish
