So I got bored in quarantine and picked this up on Xbone. Single digit levels into getting into the Earth space dock I assume is like the ‘introduction’ then it wants you to do a group mission first that the Q never pops? Or am I missing something? I just moved so I’m trying to find my headset or I’d just ask in chat. And apparently I should have read this first since I went Federation and Science. But I’ve always played healers. Roles aren't so impressive in this game and healers are definitely not a thing. You really only play with other people when you get to 65 and start doing STF missions. Other than that you should just go ahead with the story missions to level.

You should be able to just skip the queue mission and move on with things unless the console version is weird about that kind of thing.

Looks like not only does the upcoming event give a free freighter, it's also part of the T6 coupon campaign, and I ought to be able to finish mine off. And I have no idea what to get. Probably just go for something that looks neat at this point.

Morrigu Heavy Warbird A very good battlecruiser type warbird that grants Emergency Weapon Cycle as its mastery. EWC is a staple trait for high-end gameplay, and the Morrigu is available to all factions. Ikkabar Dewan Science Escort An excellent escort with a science focus, the Ikkabar's mastery trait is Improved Gravity Well, another very good trait people love. Like the Morrigu, the Ikkabar is faction-agnostic. Chronos Temporal Dreadnought Cruiser If all you want is a big, beefy cruiser, here you go. Also includes a flight deck, and is faction-agnostic. Eternal Temporal Multi-Mission Science Vessel Faction-agnostic science vessel if you want that. Beyond that, if anyone wants to fly some canon ship from the show, ping me or post here and I'll dig up what the t6 version with the relevant skin is, some of them aren't obvious.

I use a lot of science ships, and with the Brigid I could chain charged particle burst, and apply more DoTs from my secondary deflector on my science ships that I enjoy too much.

Yeah that came out of nowhere. Not a fan of the uniform, but the alliance battlecruiser skin is really nice and it's nice to have it as an option on other boats.

You should be able to get the trait in like 3 argala patrols.

The disco ones are way better for that these days, at least if you can kill klanks relatively fast. Infinitely respawning enemies during a time limit with bonus XP rewards, hooray.

To the surprise of no one, the new Khitomer uniform works well with the various Starfleet uniform bits and bobs, and very badly with the Romulan and Klingon uniform components. Lots of clipping.

Also it has the common issue of various parts (boots, belt) having locked color slots with the top on romulans, because cryptic never tests anything with romulan chars. Doesn't look too bad in game though, it's definitely got that Fed uniform style but is weird enough to feel like a proper hybrid uniform.

Looks interesting on the Paradox Temporal Dreadnought, maybe a little plain though.  It does have the one issue of reflecting way too much sunlight though, to the point of blinding.

There's one playable Borg ship, Borg officers, and bits of Borg gear. Unless CBS says no, they'll probably eventually cave and do Liberated Borg the same way they did Jem Hadar.

It's nice various good quality art asset cosmetics are given away for free on occasion. I feel a bit sorry for those who miss the opportunities as it seems that if you don't board to boat for a free skant/TNG admiral jacket/whatever then it's a real issue trying to score one later. Can people get these later via the phoenix pack system?
