if the worst invention is web-based at all it's all of that data collecting and selling without permission/knowledge or compensation to the people who become unwilling products, sometimes even becoming a detrimental safety hazard depending on the security or lack thereof within or after the transfer. now you might say that began in the 90s, or even long before using regular mail or something. and in that case twitter is just a massive bbs or whatever, so back off of attacking me.
