It's changing quite a bit, even just a few weeks away seems to throw up a new building and so on - which is alright unless you're going around the city centre at the end of a night off your face and don't recognise anything. Everything else has more or less stayed the same except the prices have been Londonified, Piccadilly Gardens is an absolute poo poo-hole and the cycle lanes are miles better.

obviously black lives "matter", but not enough to even begin to justify vandalising a statue honouring a guy who bought, sold and threw away tens of thousands of them which is 100%, entirely, completely, absolutely wrong or avoid playing into Patel/Johnson's law & order Vs the baying mob of thugs narrative by pointing out that they had been trying to do this by the proper channels for years or condemn the people responsible for it still being there despite that or mention that there are other statues that need to come down immediately if you want to avoid a repeat of this or have my shadow foreign secretary acknowledge that the very obviously racist president is a racist so like a bit, but not much
