I watched the first season over a weekend a few months after all the online hype without knowing anything about it other than Winona Ryder and The 80s and found it a pleasant enough, but I'm pretty much the prime demographic for nostalgia for that type of media. When the second season came out I watched the first episode and then never had any desire to watch the show again.

It's a sort of tense relationship tough, that can go from friendly to hostile real quick.
