Batman #92: Basically all of Batman's rogues are springing different traps on him at different times as part of a very elaborate plan in one very long night. Riddler's started his by hijacking all the screens in downtown Gotham to make Batman play a riddle-filled crossword puzzle. Batman has no time for that poo poo as he's already in the process of taking in a captured Deathstroke just has Eddie read him the clues out loud.

To me it seems like it is never about one particular riddle. Riddler always has Batman running a gauntlet of pretty tame clever trivia, which must be how grandmas feel when they have to fill out a crossword puzzle before the next one comes out. And that's what Riddler is, the newspaper editor who tries to get the better of an old lady that keeps sending him the correct solutions to the crossword puzzles every week.

Yeah, he's kind of got his gig over with and can just kick back and enjoy the rest of the show. Must be relaxing to know that you have already taken your Bat-beating and now it's everybody else's turn.

Batman had a batmobile in the nineties that would use the subway tracks. I forget the details, but Azrael used it when he was Batman.

At this point he's probably inflicted crippling injuries on them a hundred times, but they keep getting better, so the tranq gun is easier.

It blows my mind they keep putting him in catsuits when every time he puts on a jacket, it looks great. Original TAS design, Arkham City, Arkham Knight, all great designs, all very recognizably Riddler (and two of 'em didn't need the domino masks)
