I think the Kotor LP really could have used more moments where Woolie just stops mid dialogue and spends 10 minutes trying to organize what just happened in his head and have V explained plot points to him

It's fun watching him process things and I'm pretty sure V enjoys engaging in the discussions with him. Also, I gotta say, as someone who never played Kotor 2, the latest episode is a loving ride and I think I had a lot of the same reactions to it that Woolie did. Wow.

i haven't watched the kotor 2 lp yet, but kotor 1 sincerely would have benefited from someone reminding pat and woolie what has happened in the story every 5 minutes.

I like the discussions I just wish they wouldn't stop in the middle of conversations, at least not for such lengths of time. It's not like there's a shortage of running around or menu time to be filled.

I don't remember if there's any big mechanical shakeups, but I remember the partners being good (there's even a totally optional one,) and the chapters having some pretty neat concepts, including one that takes place entirely in a fight arena, and another on a Murder-Mystery Train.

One more to the pile for Thousand Year Door being the best Paper Mario. Super Paper Mario has some good gags like the weeb chameleon, and Bowser joins your crew, but for overall mechanics and content Thousand Year Door takes it easily. Hm, maybe I should give it a replay.

Partners in Time still kinda remains my least favorite of that series though - swapping out the bros. powers power on an fp/pp system for something that used consumable items bothered me greatly! Also I was probably a scrub who had a hard time going from two button timing inputs to 4 button timing inpuits.
