Yeah I also got a keytool in a drop but already have a docs case. Since the docs case can hold more variety of stuff (keys, Intel, money) is there even a real purpose for the keytool for me other than stash space or should I barter it in flea/ sell to therapist?

This isnt really true. You can right click items without the "find in raid" enchantment and click "required search" then use them to fulfill barter orders. You won’t get as much as you would for an enchanted key bar you could list for cash, but you can get more than the vendor would give.

If you’re keeping keys to useful/valuable spots as you find them you will definitely end up with more than a docs case worth. Unless you desperately need the value now, it’s worth holding on to if only for the stash space it’ll save.

FYI the 7.62 AKs got a (badly needed) recoil buff I'm working so can't really test, but on first appearance this isn't a sea-change level adjustment but hopefully does render the various AKs somewhat more controllable at non-point-blank distances

wew the amount of hackers on labs is crazy now, i lose about 50% of the fights but i'm actually able to beat aimbotters due to a tactic or two i've developed labs is just cheater v cheater now, and even reserve has lots of the types of cheaters that try and look legit.

No, there wouldn't be a whole lot of point in making a weapons platform for warfare that your average trained adult couldn't control. Video game recoil has always been vastly out of line with the reality of these things which just makes Tarkovs insistence on the most realistic simulation of combat possible a bit funnier. Though granted the revelation that automatic recoil in Tarkov becomes basically non-existent after four or five rounds is actually a pretty decently realistic way to handle things.

7.62x39 is only an intermediate cartridge so it's less of a problem. Full auto battle rifles like the FAL (which was originally designed for an intermediate cartridge) or M14 it's considered the first 3 shots or so you can reasonably control and then likely you're way above your target until you get up to like LMG weight does it become more manageable.

Hold on, are you telling me we don't need to make .308 battle rifles the standard military firearm? But yes, it's all sort of a moot point anyway because I don't think you're going to find too many units out there training to corner peak your local shopping mall aisle while spraying a 100 round drum mag at another man in a full body suit of body armor doing the same.

I admit that I hold out relatively little hope that the cheating problem will ever go away in this game. I remember PUBG before and after the cheating waves; it got unplayably bad years ago, and I stopped trying. Last week, Steam flashes a news update about PUBG to me- hey, they're still fighting the cheaters, and even with two factor and a special queue and everything the cheating plague remains. I think Tarkov is just going to be infested forever.

If you see people in a voice chat, hop in. Wait a moment of two and listen to make sure they arent in the middle of a tense firefight, then say hi and let them know you're new. Most goons are pretty friendly and chill, the wipe has a whole bunch of people returning as well. Its fine to be bad, we all are, just dont be an rear end in a top hat. If you have specific questions, you can ask in general or ping a sherpa (roles are listed in discord)

Quattroace just went through all of dorms and found THREE more factory keys in jackets. apparently you can only carry two factory keys. So he had to just leave two of them there even tried putting the extras into a bag on the ground, but as soon as it would have been more than 2 in inventory, he couldnt put his backpack back on. why

The more I learn and see about this game the more the voice in my head screams: "When's S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2?!?" I've been thinking of getting into this but I don't know if I'll have the time/patience to dedicate to it. I do want something to fill that "Russian loot 'n shoot" void short of reinstalling Shadow of Chernobyl for yet another playthrough. I'd have to chew over the $45 asking price, which is money I can put towards the many other games on my wishlist.
