So, when a conservative makes a ruling not based off of what attitudes they think an 18th century rich slave holder would have, it reveals them as a Stealth Liberal.

So I ducked out of this thread a few months ago to avoid the inevitable slapfights over the primary. Let's see what I've missed.Nick Soapdish posted:GO New Tinsley hates education as much as old Tinsley, Prickly City continues to... exist, and McCoy goes full Kelly with a crying symbol of authority. Cool. UZworm posted:...What? "School choice" means taking money from poor schools and giving it to kids in those schools to pay for a small fraction of a private school education. This generally defunds public schools while doing nothing to help said kids. In conservative telling, school choice would allow every black kid to get a free education at the most expensive private and/or religious schools and the only reason Democrats oppose it is because they hate black people and are controlled by all-powerful teachers' unions. https://twitter.com/atrupar/status/1272932284329574402?s=20

I gotta be honest: I don't totally disagree with the duck on this one. College has become way too expensive for many people to attend without acquiring crippling debt (which is why we should provide free state colleges like other first world nations) and trade schools teach people with valuable skills and shouldn't be looked down on. I'm pro-education, but education comes in many different forms. This dude can gently caress off forever though.
