Ellie finally has an opportunity to fulfill her ultimate revenge after presumably killing hundreds of people over the course of the game, including an injured, fat guy she executes in the prior scene, but she has a momentary flashback to Joel at the last second and decides to spare Abby... after just getting her fingers bitten off. She then returns home to find her gf has left her and she can no longer play the guitar due to her injury. This is an storyline recourse that i hope it gets killed pretty loving fast. the fact that a character is lgbt doesnt mean that you have a free pass to be a loving sadist about them or with them.

Like definitely getting major GoT D&D vibes from Neil. They did a few things right by accident and now their egos are showing this basic thing presented as this ground breaking idea that people haven't been exposed to.
