My favourite thing about the Grovertub thread was how the dude kept getting mad and leaving and then coming back with his tail between his legs to get advice, and talking about  again, and then getting called out and getting mad and leaving forever again this time and then...also didn't someone get permabanned for doxing him and calling a home inspector on him? That was pretty  too.

Does anyone have that post that was like a "problems/solutions" list of famous Goon sagas? One was something like "A goon kills chickens with AC/DC hadoukens" and another was about the mod who recommended people eat gobs of fatty foods until he was put on statins and another was about this accidental murder machine.

Wikipedia says it's healthier but I did absolutely zero research to check if that's accurate or significant or what my aunt and uncle have this, yeah (it wasn't a DIY--the house just came like that). there are just wall sockets you can connect a hose to in every room. the benefit I guess would be that all the dust/etc. collects in whatever dump area instead of a vacuum cleaner that you then have to empty into a trash can which means fewer particles are redistributed into the air.

Our family lived in a house with those at one point, it was completely baffling to me and eventually my parents just had the sockets removed and dry walled over them because the collector piece was in an annoying place for cleaning.
