I think so too, you don't put the "angels can reincarnate" and "Allison realises that beating everyone in a fight won't solve the world's problems" guns on the mantlepiece without having them go off in a scene like this. I really don't know how it'll play out though, which is great! What a good story, to remain so unpredictable. Anything could happen.
