blowback is the best short-form podcast i've ever heard. i agree it could have been more fleshed out within the given time frame, and i can't wait for ISIS to come rollin' in with a sequel

the overuse of wacky morning DJ style sound drops really makes me hesitant to recommend it to people. Like when they're going though how we baited Saddam into invading Kuwait and they play the tim allen grunt like 6 times.

I was trained to have a deep-seated and reflexive hatred of wacky morning DJ poo poo, and I thought it was entirely appropriate and a positive element in Blowback. Maybe it's because I associate corny radio DJing with the Bush era and with the conservative I was as a kid.
