Germanic rulers leading armies seem to have a get a combat event that lets them sacrifice an enemy commander without even dueling them, and it fires like crazy if you have a high martial (or personal combat?) skill. I'd say it's overpowered, but who cares, everything is breakable in this game if you try hard enough. The only problem is that you don't get the characters you sacrifice recorded as kills.

I mean you do you but the people running that place are not really known to be excellent or even not perma'd posters. Ads for that probably fly better elsewhere. Also lol at manual approving and other poo poo happening there. There is a games discord available as a safety net and the modmin team is very actively working on options currently, I wouldn't jump the ship just now. Join a discord, post there or here if you want, stay put and wait for the news.

Can someone please explain what causes me to lose 1/3 of my army while I'm out raiding? I will have a successful siege and suddenly a huge chunk of my army just vanishes. Also, found a fun bug. Hired some mercenaries, the game took my money but just didn't give me an army. Really hosed me for that war. Maybe my enemy got them, his army gets bigger every time I beat it. Edit: This war is loving killing me. Me repeatedly beating his army? 0 war score. Besides the obvious events, you do lose a small amount of troops whenever you finish a siege in the battle to slaughter the garrison, even when the garrison's morale is at 0. I'm not sure what determines how many troops you will lose in this battle, but maybe it can get high if you're using an army that's just barely big enough to siege down a garrison?
